Design and construction of a parking space counting system in the coastal belt of Gdańsk
As part of the investment, eight boards will be installed, which will inform about free parking spaces in four car parks.
Parking space counting system
The planned parking space counting system will include the following car parks:
at ul. Blue - 220 parking spaces,
at ul. Kapliczna - 60 parking spaces,
at ul. Czarny Dwór - 340 parking spaces,
along ul. President Kaczyński - 160 parking spaces.
Counting the number of parking spaces will be based on two systems:
through detectors at the entrance and exit from parking lots (the first three parking lots),
devices built directly into the pavement at every parking spot (along ul. Kaczyńskiego).
Information about the current capacity (number of vacancies) will be presented on boards similar to those already set on the streets of Gdańsk.
They will be located in the following locations:
Chłopska - Pomorska intersection (two boards),
Pomorska - Jelitkowska intersection (two boards),
intersection of al. Jana Pawła II - Czarny Dwór (two plaques),
intersection of al. Rzeczypospolitej - Jana Pawła II (two boards).
In addition, there will be two road signs, without screens, informing about the possibility of parking at Ergo Arena.
The entire parking counting and information system will be linked to Tristar. The displays will be made in LED technology with automatic adjustment of the brightness of the displayed information to the external lighting.
